10 seconds scr
Legendary Italian screenwriter Tonino Guerra — the creative force behind cinematic giants like Tarkovsky, Antonioni, and Fellini — once accepted a challenge from a friend:
“Bet you can't write a complete film in just 10 seconds.”
Most would’ve laughed and walked away. But Guerra, a poet of human emotion and minimalist genius, returned the next day with this:
🕒 A woman is watching television. On screen – a rocket is preparing to launch. The countdown begins: 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4...
🎭 We see her face. A storm of emotions washes over her. Just before the rocket lifts off, she picks up the phone, dials a number, and says into the receiver:
“He’s gone.”
That's it. No explosions. No dialogue-heavy scenes. Just a glance, a countdown, and a single line — loaded with love, loss, departure... and life.
💥 Guerra didn’t just win the bet. He reminded us that sometimes, 10 seconds is all it takes to tell a story you'll remember forever.
