According to this section, anyone who, while intoxicated, appears in a public place or unlawfully enters a place and behaves in a manner that causes annoyance to others is subject to punishment. The prescribed penalties include simple imprisonment for up to twenty-four hours, a fine up to one thousand rupees, both, or community service. This offense is classified as non-cognizable and bailable, and it is triable by any magistrate.
